I attended the University of Washington - Seattle to earn a bachelor's degree in general biology. I graduated with the GPA of 3.9. I'm originally from Russia, and I've been in the US for 12 years. I speak English and Russian fluently at this point. I had the opportunity to be a teaching assistant in organic chemistry class at the University Washington, and realized how much I enjoyed teaching. I found out that I'm adept at explaining difficult ideas in simple ways, and students have been able to understand and apply the knowledge given them. I understand that there is a big learning curve in understanding organic chemistry and other advanced sciences, but I can help you develop your own process so you can become self-sufficient learner. My ultimate goal is to help you work through learning obstacles and achieve success. In my free time, I enjoy basketball, movies, music, camping and hiking, soccer, and playing the piano.
